1. Who we are

• —Analytics data — page views, session duration, device type (via Google Analytics 4). This data is anonymised and aggregated.
• —Email address — collected when you log in to resumeai to access paid country formats (OTP authentication).
• —Name, email, and optionally mobile number — collected when you voluntarily submit the discount offer form after downloading a resume.
• —Chat messages — if you use the AI chatbot on sandipchavda.com and share contact details (email or phone) in conversation, these may be saved for follow-up.

3. Why we collect it

• —Analytics — to understand how visitors use the site and improve the experience.
• —Email (OTP login) — to authenticate your account and associate paid format unlocks with your email.
• —Discount offer form — to send you a discount code for web/app development services and follow up if you opt in.
• —Chatbot contact details — to respond to project enquiries you initiate.

4. How data is stored

• —Authentication tokens are stored in your browser's localStorage and are never sent to third parties.
• —Email addresses for OTP login are stored in a secure database hosted on Railway (PostgreSQL).
• —Discount offer and chatbot lead details are stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to Sandip Chavda.
• —Analytics data is stored by Google Analytics and governed by Google's privacy policy.

5. Cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies (first-party cookies set by gtag.js) only if you consent via the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. We do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party cookies beyond this.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes. Data is shared only with Google Analytics (if consented) and Razorpay (for payment processing on country format unlocks). Both are governed by their own privacy policies.

8. Data retention

Authentication records are retained as long as your account is active. Discount offer leads are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion at any time by emailing sandipjc@gmail.com.
